William "Bill" C. Cohoon 82, Indianapolis, died peacefully on Saturday, May 26, 2007. He was born in Indianapolis on January 13, 1925 the son of Wesley and Lillian Cohoon. He was a WWII Navy veteran, a member of Centre Lodge #23 and the Moose. He was a loyal employee for International Harvester, retiring after 46 years of service. Bill was a devoted and loving husband to Mary Lou Cohoon. He dedicated 39 years of his life to her care. She preceded him in death in May 2006. Survivors include his nephew, Bob (Lynn) Cohoon; great-nephew, Brent (Amanda) Cohoon; great-niece, Lori (Joe) Blazer; cousin, Carolyn (Bob) McKinney, and great-great-nieces and nephews, Madison, Macy, Carter and Cayden Cohoon, and Jordan and Cole Blazer. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center – Washington Park East, with the funeral service immediately following at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Centre Lodge #23, 525 N. Illinois St. Indianapolis, IN
